A new operation in the social
Oltre suggests an innovative model of social investment which is totally different from the to-date commonly known "ethical funds".
Ethical Funds generally identify the socially responsible funds on the basis of "exclusion criteria" (for example the choice to exclude from the investment-portfolio companies involved in armament, tobacco or gambling activity) or simply selecting companies on the basis of "compliance" criteria by virtue of law and shareholder protection.
Oltre stays aloof from the above models offering a pro-active social investment, addressed to new experimental initiatives and new modalities of intervention with a high impact social change and immediate results.

30.5.2009 - New members in Permicro: leading the development of microcredit in Italy
Permicro is the first Italian microcredit company. Promoted by Oltre Venture and Fondazione Paideia, it has won the international prize "Finanza, innovazione e sostenibilità" (finance, innovation, and sustainability) promoted by Fondazione Giordano dell'Amore for the best microfinance project.
30.5.2009 - New members in Permicro: leading the development of microcredit in Italy
Promoted by Oltre Venture and Fondazione Paideia, Permicro is the first microcredit company operating throughout the national territory. In autumn of 2007, it increased its company capital by 1.5 million euros. The new members, who will collaborate in support of the founders, are Ubi Banca, Fondazione sviluppo e crescita Crt, and a group of private investors.
